Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2024 will be held in Thurles from July 15th-20th 2024. The Munster Fleadh Cheoil Festival has something to offer for everybody who enjoys Irish traditional music, song, dance and culture.

Sessions will also be found in pubs throughout Thurles during the Fleadh weekend featuring some of Tipperary and Munster's finest musicians . Bring your instrument along and join in the craic or just come along and listen.

The Fleadh will bring a feast of open-air traditional music and dance to Thurles town centre during the Fleadh .

There will be singing sessions aplenty along with the traditional singing competitions

Workshops

Booking is now open for our annual Fleadh Slide and Polka workshop with Sliabh Luachra musician Eoin de Búrca on Thursday 18th & the Sean Nós dancing workshop with Ranóg Townsend on Wednesday 17th.

The Scoil Fonn agus Amhrán Slow Airs and Singing Workshops will also take place on Thursday, July 18th

Ionad na Gaeilge

All those with an interest in the Irish Language are most welcome to visit Ionad na Gaeilge in Ursuline Secondary School. The person with the few words of Irish or none at all, is as welcome as the fluent speaker. The venue contains many displays of interesting material and the visitor always gets a feel for Irish culture at this venue.
