The inaugural meeting of the Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2025 Executive committee recently took place in Coolcower House, Macroom attended by officers of Munster Comhaltas, officers of Cork Comhaltas and members of Cork CCÉ Comhaltas branches.
Officers elected to the Fleadh Executive Committee were:
• Cathaoirleach: Ger O’Driscoll (Douglas CCÉ)
• Leas-Cathaoirleach: Donagh O’Mahony (Clonakilty CCÉ)
• Runaí: Marina Deasy (Baile Núis CCÉ)
• Leas-Runaí: Catherine O’Donovan (Baile Núis CCÉ)
• Cisteoirí: Derry McCarthy (Dunmanway CCÉ) and Maurice Guilfoyle, Cisteor na Mumhan
• Leas-Cisteoir: Grace Donovan (Aghinagh CCÉ)
• PRO: Pet O’Connell (Lachtain Naofa CCÉ)
• Asst PRO: Megan Kiely (Chronáin CCÉ)
Members were also elected to various sub-committees.
Work will now begin on planning for Fleadh na Mumhan 2025 and we extend our best wishes to the Fleadh Coiste in the months ahead as we look forward to another great Munster Fleadh in Cork City.
