Entries are now being invited from groups for this year's Fleadh Street Entertainment competition
An integral part of Fleadh na Mumhan each year is Scoil Fonn agus Amhráin workshops providing tuition in slow-air playing and traditional singing to scholarship winners from the six counties of Munster. The Slide and Polka Workshops is also a hugely popular part of the Fleadh programme. This workshop is open to any interested participants. This year's tutor is well known Sliabh Luachra musician Niamh Ní Charra
For many the most important part of a Fleadh weekend are the Fleadh competitions as competitors from the six counties of Munster will gather in Ennis seeking a coveted Munster title and a place in the All-Ireland 2018 in Drogheda

An exciting programme of of concerts will take place during the Fleadh week in Ennis:
We are delighted to present an all-star line up for our Fleadh Concerts including the Kilfenora Céilí Band, Téada, Clare Trad Youth Orchestra and a special celebration of Clare female musicians and singers. Tickets are now available to purchase on our concerts page
from the All-Ireland Champions Shandrum Céilí Band. An open air céilí will take place on Sunday, July 22nd with the Star of Munster Céilí Band. There will also be top-class dancing to be seen at the Munster senior and junior set-dancing competitions.
Trad Sessions will be found in pubs throughout Ennis during the Fleadh weekend featuring some of Clare and Munster's finest musicians. Bring your instrument along and join in the craic or just come along and listen.
The Fleadh open air Gig Rig stage located in Abbey St Car Park in Ennis town centre will bring a feast of open-air traditional music and dance to Ennis during the Fleadh. The All-Ireland Champions Shandrum Céilí Band will be launching the entertainment line-up on Friday, July 20th
Cuirtear béim faoi leith ar an Ghaeilge agus tábhacht an teanga i gcultúir na ndaoine. The Fleadh’s sub-committee for An Ghaeilge has brought our native language into many of the week’s events and has provided plenty of opportunities for walking, talking, singing and even praying as gaeilge during the Fleadh!
Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2018 will be held in Ennis from July 15th-22nd 2018. The Munster Fleadh Cheoil is a week-long festival has something to offer for everybody who enjoys Irish traditional music, song, dance and culture.
