Cork City Concert Hall

Home to Cork City Council, the magnificent Cork City Hall is an iconic buiilding in the city. It was opened in 1936 by the then Taoiseach Eamon de Valera. The present building replaced the former City Hall which was destroyed during the burning of Cork in 1920.

With a seating capacity of over 1200 seats, Cork City Concert Hall will host the hotly contested Céilí Bands and Grúpaí Cheoil competitions.  It will be the largest competition venue ever in the history of Fleadh na Mumhan and all the groups and bands who qualify to compete in the Fleadh will have the opportunity to perform on the historic City Hall stage.
